FAQ
Are there restrictions on what a partner can offer as a reward?
Yes. All rewards are approved centrally by RippleCore, with restrictions on age, safeguarding, alcohol, gambling and financial products. We don’t allow misleading claims or unsupported impact statements, or promotions aimed at vulnerable audiences. We also don’t sell ownership of individual acts of kindness — recognition reads “supported by,” and the person and the kindness stay at the centre of the story.
Can I change my default privacy settings?
Yes. Your default map visibility and default story audience are both set from your profile, so you’re not choosing them from scratch every time you log an act — you can still override either one on any individual act.
How is partner impact reported?
Every partner receives a Quarterly Sponsor Impact Report — aggregated community activity, a breakdown of where it happened, and a handful of stories behind the numbers. It’s built from aggregated Circle data, self-reported by members and not independently verified, and any story excerpts are used under explicit permission. See a sample report.
How is the evidence of impact produced?
Every new act can be linked back to the one that inspired it — that link is the Ripple Chain, and it’s what turns “we logged 1,000 acts” into “those acts inspired 3,500 more.” The resulting numbers are tabular and reconcilable: admin totals reconcile to the acts members actually see, not a black box. There’s no dashboard vanity metric standing in for the real count.
How long does setup take?
Setup starts with a short walkthrough call so we understand your institution and Circle. From there, your Circle is provisioned and members join with a join code — no public sign-up form to build or maintain on your side. Book a demo and we’ll talk through a timeline for your institution.
Is my location visible on the map?
Only to the level you choose, per act — exact, approximate, town-level (the recommended default), or hidden entirely. No member’s real-world location is exposed by default. See Safeguarding for how that default protects the most vulnerable member.
What data do we hold about our members?
Member profile details (name, handle, bio, department), the acts a member chooses to log (caption, category, and location only to the precision their own map-visibility setting allows), and the account data needed to sign them in. All of it is scoped to your Circle server-side — the privacy boundary, not a client-side filter — so there’s no cross-circle leakage. See Safeguarding for how location and audience defaults protect members by default.
What does a partnership tier include?
Every partnership — Circle Partner, Rewards Partner or Platform Partner — includes a verified branded RippleCore account, permission to share genuine kindness stories, a website partner listing with your reason for supporting, logo and name recognition in the Circle you support, a quarterly Sponsor Impact Report, and acknowledgement in selected RippleCore communications. It’s part of the partnership, never an extra charge — see Partners for the three routes in full.
What does RippleCore cost?
Pricing is quoted per Circle, based on your institution’s size and needs — there’s no one-size-fits-all number to quote here. See the pricing page for the tiers we offer, or book a demo and we’ll put together a quote for your institution.
Who sees the acts I log?
Whoever you choose for that story — just me, your Circle, or public. Story audience is set per story, not once for your whole account, and the defaults are member-protective.
