A city-wide Circle connecting neighbourhood groups, independent traders and volunteers across seven Sheffield wards.

Sheffield City Circle grew out of a mutual-aid network that never quite stopped. It now spans seven wards and needs a lead partner to move from volunteer-run to sustainable.

The ambition is a city where small acts between neighbours are recorded, celebrated locally and used as evidence when the council and funders ask what community life actually looks like.

Launching city-wide in September 2026 after a successful pilot in two wards. Currently volunteer-run with no funded administration.
