Four actions, on purpose
Every act supports exactly four actions: Love, Follow, Save, Inspired. There’s no comment field, no reply thread, no reaction palette to scroll through. Discover filters what’s already on screen; Search looks across Circles for people and other Circles. Neither is a feed engineered to keep you scrolling.
What’s missing is the point
No comments. No reply threads. No infinite scroll. No follower counts to chase. A member logging an act of kindness shouldn’t have to brace for a comments section, and shouldn’t feel like they’re performing for an audience. The narrow interaction model exists so that logging something kind stays low-pressure — capture it, see it ripple, feel encouraged to do it again.
What we deliberately don’t optimise for
Session length, daily-active-loops, notification-driven re-engagement, follower counts — engagement-maximising patterns are out of bounds by design. Numbers have to mean something measurable; a longer session isn’t evidence of anything an institution should want to report.
